UTS-15 Shotgun – SHOT 2013

DSC01338

The UTS-15 is a shotgun by Turkish firm UTAS that in many ways is an update on the Neostead 2000 shotgun, with its bullpup design, dual tube magazines located above the barrel, and ability to alternately feed from both tubes. It’s constructed largely from polymer, with the bolt, barrel, and flash suppressor machined from 4140 steel. It features an AR-15 style manual safety switch, and the integrated top mounted picatinny rail allows for iron sights and/or optics. An optional fore-end integrated light/laser combo can be added to the UTS-15. The UTS-15 is chambered for 2 1/2″, 2 3/4″, and 3″ magnum shotshells. Features an overall length of 28.5″ with a weight of 6.9 lbs. As an added note, UTS-15s sold in the USA are manufactured in Des Plaines, IL.
