    @1:53 “…tear resistant and bulletproof.”

    Well, $300K for something that’s a kinda sorta bulletproof — “anything but a straight shot,” (which, oddly is sorta the opposite of the norm)) — … that probably should be replaced every 4 years … or after getting hit ….

    That must have been a fun procurement meeting.

    [General] Very impressive. Heat resistant. Good compression resistance. Damn near cut proof – lots of sharp things on the battlefield after all. And, of course, bulletproof.
    [Lucius Fox] Oh, definitely. Yup. Totally. It’ll stop anything but a straight shot.
    [General] Perfe-, wait, what?
    [Lucius] Yessiree, this here’s rock solid against anything that hits outside of a 30 degee angle…otherwise, yeah, it’s going right through.
    [General] Uuh…
    [Lucius] Or if it’s a high caliber-round, multiple shots from close range….
    [General] *Slackjawed*
    [Lucius] Also, FYI, it kinda sinks in water. Like a rock, really. Yup, for $300K a piece, they’re all yours.
    [General] I think we’ll be going in a different direction.
    [Lucius] Surely you can’t put a pricetag on the lives of your frontline infantry?
    [General] Well, I would have thought so, but here we are.
    [Lucius] Wait, did I mention it’s stab-proof? Never trusted those Gurkhas.
