Hell Hath No Fury Like DoubleStar’s New “Crashete”

Crashete

Martial arts practitioner and weapon designer, Robert H. Cabrera of Filo Bladeworks, creates the next generation in edged-weapons.

Winchester, Ky. (January 2017) – DoubleStar Corp, manufacturers of high-quality, US-made AR components, rifles and pistols, reveal the Fury “Crashete”. We coined this term to accurately describe the Fury’s capability. Although the Fury’s gene pool harkens back to sugar cane and brush clearing machetes, its modern re-engineering puts it in the class of the perfect everyday tool and personal protection.

Most production machetes are made from .089″ – .125″ thick spring steel, but DoubleStar went instead with .285″ thick S7 tool steel. This steel gives the Fury’s blade a high impact toughness and resistance to shock load. Heavy enough for light breaching but still lightweight enough at 1 lb. 12 oz. to be comfortably carried on your person. Measuring just 18.25″ long, the Fury gives you reach while still being useful in close quarter situations. MSRP of the Fury is $499.99.
