Sold-Out Women’s Firearm Training Conference Begins Thursday

AUSTIN TX – A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) is welcoming 350 participants, 100 instructors and staff, and more than 50 vendors to its 6th Annual National Training Conference, which begins Thursday in Burnet, Texas. The Presenting Sponsor of the event is CZ-USA Firearms. This marks the second year of the partnership between these two respected brands in offering this annual training conference.

The 6th Annual National Conference Presented by CZ-USA will take place from April 19-22, 2018, at Reveille Peak Ranch. Attendees will rotate through six to eight 3-hour training sessions on a wide range of topics. Sporting Clays Champion and Guinness World Record Holder Dave Miller of CZ-USA will be teaching sessions throughout the weekend as part of the all-star lineup of professional instructors.

The event welcomes women from 80 chapters and 30 different states. Ages range from 13 years old through mid-70s, and training sessions are tailored for beginners through expert-level marksmen. Sessions include training on all firearms platforms, as well as force-on-force, unarmed defense, long-range shooting, 3-gun competition, self-defense, lectures, rifle building workshops, and more throughout 36 bays, 3 classrooms, and several meeting spaces.

A Girl & A Gun – 90 Days to a Bad-Ass Life

AUSTIN TX — A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) is announcing a revolutionary program for women shooters that will change their lives. The Tactical Foo-Foo MasterMind Program complements the AG & AG Shooting Journal with recurring webinars and activities to help women achieve their personal and shooting goals. Performance Coach Kelley Moore will give participants the tactics to mastering disruptions, hecklers, and hijackers in their lives.

“We often see a woman’s empowerment on the shooting range affect so many areas of her life,” says Julianna Crowder, Founder of AG & AG. “Now women can not only use our Shooting Journal for logging live-fire and dry-fire drills, but Kelley will take them to a new level in goal setting, overcoming obstacles, and living the lives they want.”

One 2-hour interactive webinar every 10 days will keep participants motivated with professional support, and peers in the program will give feedback, help brainstorm new possibilities, and set up accountability structures that keep participants focused and on track. Each MasterMind group lasts three months, with participants having the option to renew and continue into the next group. The first webinar will take place on July 11, 2017, at 7pm Central Time.
