The Joker still looks like an idiot, but the rest of the movie looks watchable. It’s insane how good DC’s animated movies are and how crushingly bad their Hollywood movies are, especially by comparison. I might actually see this in the theater by the way it’s shaping up.
I agree. DC’s animated division completely blows Marvel out of the water. It’s a shame that their cinematic pursuits can’t seem to match up.
I’ve always been a Marvel fan first and DC as somewhat an afterthought, but I have to reiterate that I really really enjoy DC animated movies. I think the disconnect is Hollywood and the money involved in making such ambitious live-action movies. You get that much money involved and all of a sudden Superman is fighting polar bears and giant spiders if you’re not careful.
